It’s been a while since I’ve updated the site. I’ve been busy selling t-shirts. I was spending time explaining how I make money selling t-shirts, but then I got so distracted actually selling the shirts I ended up ignoring the Make Money Online Show. However, I’m reviving the show and the site. What I’d really like to know is what you want to know regarding making money online. I’ve been making my living online for since 1998. That’s a long, long time for online marketing! I’ve seen just about everything. If there’s something you’d like to know, please leave it in the comments. I’ll be interviewing successful entrepreneurs to find out how they make money online and sharing as many tips as I can in the process. We’re all in this together.
A lot of times people ask me what I do for a living. It took me a long time until I just said, “Internet Marketing”. Most people say, “Wow! So you’re your own boss? That’s awesome!” It’s awesome but it’s not easy. Anyone who tells you that making money online is easy is either lying to you or about to take your money and give you nothing in return. It’s happened to me. I’ve been cheated online. It doesn’t happen often, but it will happen to all of us eventually. You see, once you figure out something that works, at least for a certain amount of time, it WILL BE EASY to make money online, but then circumstances will change. They never stay the same online. I always tell people that I learn new things every single day. It’s the only way to survive online. Selling t-shirts on Facebook, which I’ve been doing for the past 2 1/2 years, didn’t even exist 2 1/2 years ago. This is a field for people who love challenges and love learning new ways of making money. You need to buy courses (I probably buy a course every week or two) and software, take the time to learn the material, be smart about hiring freelancers to help you, and never, never give up. It can be so frustrating at times when you have a super successful business one day and the next day the whole paradigm of how you were making money changed and now you have to start all over again. It’s happened to me so many times I’ve lost track. Think of Blockbuster and Netflix. Blockbuster was the big daddy of video sales. Now no one rents DVDs. They stream them online. That’s how our business works. What worked six months ago doesn’t work today and if it does, it won’t be long before it’s gone.
You have to constantly stay ahead of the curve. Sometimes I’m behind it, but I catch up quickly. That’s why I’ll be doing interviews. Some people have found little tricks that make making money online easier. Not easy, but easier. I want to talk with them. I want to share their information with you. We’ll learn and grow together.
